The Geomatics Employment site provides online tools to help you find GIS related jobs by connecting potential employers with qualified GIS job seekers, most that fall into two broad categories, those graduates that have finished (or are in the middle of finishing) their GIS education or training, and Geomatics professionals who are further building their career. Our site has been put together by Geomatics professionals that have all been part of those categories at some point during their career. And we are all aware that the Internet has changed the way we search for GIS jobs. While there are several great online resources, the Internet can also result with you spending endless hours sorting through several useless web sites and content that clutters the Internet, instead of actually focusing on the main goal of finding work. GISjobs.ca was one of the first sites that focused on helping young people find Canadian GIS jobs and has been gone through a lot of changes since we launched in 2004. So take some time, explore our GIS career site, post your resume, search for GIS jobs or read up on our GIS career advice.
